Now I write nurse-led murder mysteries set in small towns where things aren’t always as cozy as they seem. I traded charts for clues, but the heart of the work is the same: paying attention, asking the right questions, and figuring out what doesn’t quite add up.

This transition from nursing to full-time author still feels a little unreal, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. There’s always coffee nearby, stories in progress, and a mystery waiting to be uncovered.
